No no. There is no reason to think that. I think he does something with modeling large systems.

Not more than a few others. He just accepts AMD's word too trustingly. Others have figured out AMD's word isn't worth much.

The explanation of why some people here see everything in a positive light for AMD, and would like very much for AMD to succeed, is because they hate Intel. That is the common denominator. The AMD defenders are too smart to actually have a significant investment in AMD. They just like to see it continue the fight. Which is pretty much the opposite of pro-Intel posters. Most have a heavy investment in INTC.

I would love to be an AMD employee, but they have no office anywhere near San Diego & I am not moving. I thought that 3% better gross margin due to less startup costs sounded like too much -- that would be about a 6% change in Intel's Cost of Sales for ramping 45nm.
