Elroy, What is the difference between that man and a man, say in North America that has a new lady friend every week?

"I think slavery is immoral and slave owners should be ashamed. "

That is a good thought, although I don't think it works for every circumstance in history and there are lots more heinous things going on in the world today than one person being subject to another, lacking any overt evidence of oppression or brutality. Your characterizations, however, of this story are unqualified.

I would be ashamed of my self if I exaggerated, especially when it impunes the honor of a person I know nearly nothing about. But I don't think you should be ashamed, 'should' is a manipulative word that I try to avoid.

I don't comment on people in America who've adapted the popular and deliberate venue of serial monogamous relationships or who have multiple relations at a time, even though that wouldn't work for me and I wouldn't recommend it for anyone else. But I don't misrepresent them to make a point on what I think is a wholesome and decent lifestyle.

"The man should be ashamed of the punishment of a life that he is inflicting upon his upcoming 20 year old next wife. The society should be ashamed that the young women of the society are given zero respect, and are allowed to be treated like slaves for his pleasure."

You are unqualified to judge. You don't know the circumstances for that woman, so you are speculating in a way that is beneficial to your bigoted views. Your venue is clearly bigoted given all the comparative issues in the world in which oppression and brutality are unquestionable.

"The society should be ashamed that the young women of the society are given zero respect, and are allowed to be treated like slaves for his pleasure."

I have traveled and can testify that women of that society are given great respect in ways that women in this society do not and visa versa. The cultures are different but your characterisation is simply egotistical and ignorant with respect to other cultures.

Do you actually believe that a 70 year old man buying 20 year old wives four at a time is neither moral or immoral, it's just something you have no opinion on?

On the surface, and as a general rule, I would have to vote against it. Morality has nothing to do with it. Many people, ESPECIALLY in our culture hook up for reasons that have more to do with a social strategy or beneficial material decisions than because it is a 'moral' choice. I vote against that also but I don't think anyone should be ashamed of themselves for it.

"Have you got any daughters?"

Yes, and in their circumstances that would be an outrageous and impractical course to follow.
