...but what does pacifism have to do with gays? I don't follow the logic?

You mentioned pacifism and atheism together yet they don't have anything to do with one another - theoretically. But in fact, atheism, pacifism, gay marriage are favored liberal causes. Parts of a complex promoted by some in the public schools. Along with global warming hysteria, "winter celebrations" in place of Christmas, etc.

The message for kids here is pretty clear. . .
What is the message for kids? Are you suggesting the teachers are encouraging a gay life style? I think that is preposterous and rather silly. Perhaps they are just trying to teach tolerance of people? I don't have much of an opinion here as I am not afraid of gays......

Sure, everyone who doesn't think gay marriage with a wedding and the two kings kissing is appropriate material for 6 year olds is "afraid of gays". Here's an idea - maybe you're afraid of being politically incorrect?

As to whether the books are intended to encourage a gay lifestyle or just tolerance for a gay lifestyle - at 6 years of age there's no difference. Childrens books have morales and try to promote values and traits. What do you think the Sissy Duckling or The Different Dragon are promoting?

To people afraid [ again with the stupid psychological ploy - agree with me or be chicken ] of accepting evolution, I ask the following question;....if you get an infection from a resistant bacteria, do you want a shot of an antibiotic that will not work or a newer antibiotic developed to address the resistant bacteria?

That isn't the issue. The issue is should children be taught as a scientific fact that we aren't here as part of a divine plan.

Your argument seems to confuse evolution with atheism.

Have you ever told atheists that? They claim atheism is scientific all the time. Check out Richard Dawkins. Ditto lots of other "scientists" - Dennett, Coyle, yada yada and as my previous post showed for awhile the NCSE.
