And he said NOTHING! He wants to look active and empathetic to homeowners. Empathy wont fix the problem and now its on his watch. He should have stayed away! There are 650 billion in ARM's set to ratchet next year and the discount rate reduction doesn't do anything to address that issue. The concern I have is I believe inflation is afoot and lowering rates isn't what you do in the face of inflation.
