One, Rahul is smoking something. Desktop apps? A 3GHz Phenom would perform about like a 3GHz C2D 65nm Quad.

Two, awwww, too bad there aren't any 3GHz Phenoms for sale, and "current" competition will have changed long before they are for sale.

Henri's fleeing the SS AMD says it all. He doesn't expect AMD success in the future, or he'd stick around.

If this translates to all games then it's a clean kill of all Intel's parts, 45nm included.
