"very minor" is the total number of handsets with WCDMA capability sold by Nokia so far as a percentage of total number of handsets sold by Nokia.

You originally used the word revenues and not units. I analysed your actual statement.

I would also add that your original post that started this threadd stated that Nokia was not accruing for WCMDA royalties. They clearly are doing so, though you may disagree about the amount.

Let me put this whole argument another way, though I know it has been stated many times before: Nokia can't sell its own WCDMA handset today without using QUALCOMM IPR. They're going to get the chips either from TI, Samsung (unlikely), Broadcom (later on, possibly), or some other fabricator, but whatever they use for a WCDMA chip will contain QCOM IPR.

I have NEVER disagree with this statement. I've never even hinted at a disagrement.

Where I differ from others is that I think it is equally true that Qualcomm will never be able to sell a WCDMA chipset without Nokia's IPR. That fact matters. It is the reason that the current legal mess might drag on for years and the reason that I support SpinCo2.
