Can't speak for all of them, but I know some of those are true. For example, the Mormons changed the Book of Moroni a couple of decades back when they were courting American Indians, some say to control the natural resources on many reservations. They changed a line where it stated that non-whites would become "white and delightsome" in the eyes of the Lord when they repented...

Individual Mormons I have met tend to be great people. But, their religion is, well...

Their founder was a con man. No other way to interpret the "magic spectacles" and the other aspects of the early days of the church.

Yeah, and I've been to Kolob once, and it looks just like Lisbon....
