I'm not sure when you were at a public college last, but all of the ones I've been enrolled in, or visited recently, have active Christian groups on campus. The Christian association at both my undergrad and graduate universities had their own rooms, their own events, and faculty advisor, and bible study classes. Not only that but all the public schools I went to had active campus ministries - of evangelizing Christians running around. I think you are kidding yourself about what is available. I'm not sure why you'd want to be outraged when you really don't need to be. Remember- one of the biggest accommodations around is Sundays and Saturdays off from school- the two days the major religions use for worship.
