I read that as a typo. The rest of the post was defending the spin off from the standpoint of a standalone QTL, so that paragraph makes perfect sense if you substitute QTL for QCT.

Sorry, but that paragraph was meant to refer to QTL. They will have the lion's share of the patents and would be free to go after a wider range of technologies for royalties.

I dont know why, but I am positively dyslexic when it comes to going back and forth between those two acronyms (QTL and QCT).
