Yes. QCOM's third Qtr QTL revenues approximate 4% of 88 million devices sold at an ASP of $217.00 or $766 million as reported.
There are costs associated with QTL including but not limited to legal expenses.


Legal expenses show up as an expense not as contra-revenue.

There are some development funds that are contra-revenue but Keitel's comments seem to indicate that these wouldnt be anywhere anywhere near one full percentage point of reduction (Q would need to be spending $190 million a quarter to reduce the rate from 5% to 4%).
