Bush fired Clinton's entire counter-terror team which was focused on Al Qaida and stopped the LAX 1999 bombing. And the worst part was, Bush did not replace them. So nobody was minding our national security until AFTER 9-11 when Bushies decided to exploit that attack to trick the public into backing their fascist style corporate ripoff schemes, mainly in the oil, weapons and health care fields. Much-much worse than the crooked S+L debacle, and don't think we're not headed for the motehr of all recessions as soon as Wall Street, The Fed and the White House quit hiding the hundreds of billions, if not trillions, in bad loans. That is what deregulating industry always gets you, massive cheating and robbing of the public.
