No, not difficult, just expensive. It's called a "Class III FFL." Costs about $500, and there's a lot of rules and paperwork associated with the license as well as obtaining and selling the full auto gun.

Similarly, many people think sawed off shotguns and silencers are illegal. In fact, they aren't; they just require the payment of a tax and lots of paperwork.

I guess ya gotta come to fla. haha. I dont know where they bought them but I presume at a gun show, we have lots of them down here. Frankly, I dont know why anyone would want one. Cost a lot to buy and shoot and worthless unless you are figuring on a war. jdn
