I never said it wasn't important to get bin Laden (although "highly important" might be a bit much, even if we do get him the terror network will continue). And yes we didn't do it. I didn't say we did. What I did accurately post was 1 - Its a bit dubious to say we didn't avenge 9/11. 2 - To this day its uncertain if we ever really had a decent chance at getting bin Laden.
