i believe at least one major wall street house is in serious trouble, highly leveraged, holds much unmarked and unmarkable positions, and filled to the brim with uncleared trades, trying desperately to do triage, deciding who (which fund under management) dies a painful financial death and who lives so as to fight another day. the triage direction can be discerned by what it is trying to raise funds for, on what terms. the main event is still not on. you will know it when full on. remember LTCM? that was a tea party compared to what awaits.
