Re Gold miners: notice former high fliers AEM got slammed yesterday, SA slammed today near the close. Guessing these were heavily owned by hedge funds and are now being thrown overboard to generate cash regardless of HUI or POG.

jims I am the least knowledgeable person here, but what I see is many people with debt they cannot pay off and government obligations via SS, medicare etc. vs receipts that are large. How all the mix affects gold and silver I have no idea.

To me it seems a little easy to kick out a few billion dollars here and there so maybe some day the hard shiny stuff will have a value. I don't know. Maybe they are buggy whips.
