I don't see how there could be any doubt about the validity of the the assertion "Leaving Early Risks Wider Bloodshed".

Greater animus toward the US is a risk of staying to long or attempting to control too much.

So there is risk either way. Partisan criticisms or cheers from any of the well known partisan extremists is predictable and offers little in the way of constructive recourse.

I think we can predict this speech will be supported by the report coming from General Patreaus. All in all the speech and our responses are likely to offer little in the way of new outlooks.

Bush wouldn't have to be making this speech if he bothered to show up for work in the morning and actually do something. I will bet that the WH is spending more time and energy on the upcoming wedding than on what is going on in the US or Iraq.

Republicans are utterly useless. What they say is utter nonsense.

I did hear that voting machine companies are having a hard time given the useless machines they foisted on us. There is a faint glimmer of hope that the entire Republican fraud is unraveling.
