Oh, and by the way, I'm sure it's just a coincidence that B of A's "investment" was 2.0 billion, while each of the 4 banks borrowed precisely 500 million each. Nah, that's so easy a caveman could see through it!

Perhaps 4 banks borrowed on the discount and transfered the debt to an unnamed 5th bank, perhaps one on the west coast, that needs a little help from its friends.

Maybe one if the 4 banks that borrowed is the one in trouble and needed the money. The other 3 went in with the same amount to mask it and make it seem just a "patriotic" think being done. One bank going it by itself might bring too much scrutinity in on it.
