Weren't we talking about Mass? The Mass law was changed by the court. I'm ok with that. I do not think the legislature "should have" been involved instead of the courts. Was I supposed to enumerate that? I would have assumed you knew I was ok with courts making rulings- since I was mentioning court rulings that I was ok with. I thought that was implicit. If it wasn't implicit, let me just say- I approve of courts making decisions like this, even when I disagree with them, I think it is their function.

When I said don't change the law in the schools, I meant abide by the laws until they are changed- by the legislature, or in the Mass case, by the court- although any change in law by a court involves the legislature because they can, if they want to, rewrite such laws.
