No, I didn't have to redefine them, I just had to EXPLAIN them because you had the common kneejerk reaction that European History = Colonialism, and nothing but colonialism.

Maybe if you would ask for an explanation when you don't understand something, instead of leaping to the attack because I've written a remark instead of a PhD thesis, this discussion could proceed more civilly.

Ch, there was nothing wrong with her post. I think you do have that europhobic view re: colonialism that she talks about. Cant base policy solely on guilt whehter for euros early on and US Now.
