So about 2 billion of the world's population is not on your side for this one. The key word in my statement was "legitimately." I understand that those two major religions disagree but I consider their approach non-constructive. I think that those who put a lot of their life energy into recruitment are, at best, non-constructive and at worst, a menace, either major or minor depending on tactics. A large portion of those 2 billion ignore or tone it down to the point where it isn't incompatible with modern pluralism. It's the ones who don't tone it down who are the religious "warriors." I don't think any thoughtful, civilized person should be encouraging them.
