Yesterday in his speech, President Bush said that the coalition has been capturing or killing 1500 terrorists a month since January. Do you think that is a significant number, and do you know how that compares to prior months? The total militant Muslim target base is 150,000,000 million. The total militant Muslim extremist target base is 15,000,000. I have my opinion but you too can decide the significance of 1500. My calculator says at 1500 per month it will take 833 years to take out the extremists. We have had better months. SF has had a number of 300+ nights and some were over 400, and I am talking about single operations and enemy fatalities. Most nights there are dozens or more operations. The surge did not begin in January. I would like to know the figures for the last 2 months. Odd that he used January unless January was better than July.
