I think Romney is almost a perfect Vice-Presidential Candidate for Thompson. Not for Rudy. Mitt would bring New England/Utah/Business elements to the campaign, helping Fred with some regional and balance from wings of the party.

Rudy/Huckabee works for me otherwise. Same reasoning and Huckabee has a lot to offer....

It would be easier for me to vote for Fred. 911 improved their image, but there is still an unfavorable stereotype of New Yorkers.
