Two, if its gaming ipc is a lot better then they won't need 3 GHz to make an initial impact. It isn't. One, Rahul may have benched Barcelona already which would make your equivalent ipc generalisation incorrect. AMD has already clarified K10 IPC relative to K8. Sorry, mas. Three, he's got a job already which does not sound like a sacking to me but a possible promotion. DUH. He QUIT AMD.
