i do not accept your theory. you need to see why rudy and romney got elected, what was going on at that time they ran. were democrats at the point they wanted to throw the bums out.

Yep, I think that includes Romney. I think that most of the Mountain States, and even the Midwest, are less concerned about his religion than his state of residence.

The prejudice that exists against Bush being from Texas by Yankees is reciprocated from "real America" towards the Yankee States. That's IMO, of course.
