but that HAS NOT been the media focus, the media focus has been all about his cruelty to the animal... Of course. The Commerce Clause to the US Constitution is not juicy news. In our 24/7 news soaked culture, it's the headlines that grab. So, someone electrocuting puppies, or slamming them to the ground till dead is news, unfortunately.

vick is being railroaded, no question about it That's the price he pays for being a millionaire sports star who got involved with unsavory activities. If he was Joe Smith, a Clerk at the local 7-11, likely he would not have been prosecuted at the federal level. Doesn't necessarily make it a railroading.
