I scoped out a copy at the local university where my sweetie also freelance teaches a few social service courses on the side. I don't have alumni borrowing privileges at that particular school, so she's going to look into whether she can take it off campus on her account so that I can have a look at it here at home. That'll work a lot better than my having to try and read it in the library in pieces up there. I've read a lot of historical works on the depression over the years, but based on the abstract, this one looks like quite the tome -- surprised I never took notice of it before
