Lim,

Yes, it is nice to see the stock moving up while BRCM and NOK are down. This has not happen for a while.

The problem with QCOM is the cloud that hangs over the stock won't go away. Since last year, how many times we have to wait and wait? Wait for BRCM trial (lost), wait for ITC (lost), wait for President Bush (lost), wait for Nokia (still waiting), August 29, wait for Spinco (if ever). There is no question that the basic operation is sound and revenues and profits keep increasing. As a matter of fact, the company has surpassed TXN as number one wireless chip supplier. While all semi conductor companies have declining revenues, QCOM is the only one with increasing sales.

The cloud is what worrying investors, like how much of that bundle of cash will be gone for the penalty imposed by the court. This is another wait.

How about waiting for the Appeals Court for a stay of ITC decision? No one knows when the court will render its ruling.

Until then, we have to be thankful that the erosion has stopped for now, even at low volume.

Best to you,

Paul

Limmer -- the reason we all agreed to come over to this new thread was to continue listening to you whine and moan. It's nice to know someone else feels worse when Q goes down. Your constant upbeat attitude and positive spin is becoming quite annoying. You do realize Qrap is only 7 bucks and some change from the 20s don't you? <g>
