Did they actually print more, or just renewed the repos? BSC
is in trouble again because of carry trade? The move in Yen
has not been that huge compared to 1999, yet the banks
are in trouble. That tells a lot about the amount of
leverage out there. Of course, Gaussian models work as long
as there is enough liquidity, but the real crunch has not
even started, the first huge wave of morgage resets is
coming this Fall.
