Cheney claimed in 1994 that to invade Iraq would result in a quagmire costing thousands of US troops lives and breaking the country into chaotic civil warring parts. He said Bush Sr. did the right thing by not invading because it was not worth it. Where was that interview before the 2004 election. Would have helped expose Bush-cheney as complete corrupt liars. The invasion of Iraq I am convinced was done for profit, with Cheney's own company profiting the most.
