Please look at slide 26. It shows the amount of Asset Backed Commercial Paper held by the large Investment Banks relative to their total assets. I note that two maturing ABCP's held by Cameco were not paid upon maturity. Is this something that can blow up IB's? Is there an issue here? Or is it not as dire as I think it might be? If it is, Lehman, Merrill & Goldman are toast. Feedback please! ... the response by the cyber round table simply makes me go back repeatedly to rethink a viable out that does not involve massive maiming and terrible slaughtering ... i come up empty ... this time it is for real, there is no out, many will die financial death, and officialdoms will be able to do nothing substantively valuable, and will most certainly make matters far worse, full stop.
