Maliki is running a shiaa state and will not pay attention to the tribal chiefs who in this case are sunni. He will be very happy to have sunniland and kurdistan lopped off iraq so he can run this shiaacracy in conjunction with iran. Thats very shortsighted but its the approach most shiaa take because of their history with saddam and sunnis. Kurds will be fine. The Sunnis wont and the tribal leaders like the tribal leaders in pakistan will switch sides over and over again. They are backward and primitive. Imagine the saudis without oil. How sunniland turns out good in the long run and expecially without american troops which they will be without one day, beats me.
Thanks for the compliments. By the way if you notice that post to sarman, i said if we leave out israel and palestine. He has a dog in that fight as do many jews. That conflict should not ruin areas of agreement and I think deep down sarman aint a bad guy. Just dont talk to him about palestine or israel and thats what i tried to convey.
