The real issue is the lack of threading on SI and iHub boards. Then the "speed limit" whiners would have no excuses left, even the freeloaders.

Well I pretty much already stated my thoughts. I don't think that any 24 hour period, calculated to add up to the most post possible is a good idea. I don't think 12 posts at around 3 PM one day and 8 the next day at around 1PM should get anyone suspended.

Keep it simple -- 20/calendar day maximum is fine with me. No enforcement on day of and day after AMD earnings. First suspension -- 2 days Repeat suspension within 1 week of end of any suspension should result in 1-week suspension. This rule is also good because it discourages short, non-thinking comments and insults. Pathological violators would wind up being suspended up to 87% of the time without the necessity of voting for a permanent ban. Petz

Soliciting thoughts on the speed limit. A mindless rule that shouldn't be implemented at all.
