Logic and Bush don't exactly go hand in hand. He's clearly become delusional when it comes to Iraq. As if all thats required is patience.

Seems to me the problems in Iraq were all Saddam's fault.

Now if we leave it will be "killing fields and boat people".

So I guess, logically then, the problems in Iraq are our fault and not Saddam's.

Easily the best foreign policy we could have pursued was to help Saddam - the natural enemy of Iran - pump as much cheap oil as possible. That would have been to our benefit without a single drop of US blood.

Of course thats not what the Israeli's would have wanted so instead we are in up to our eyeballs in this disater that has no end. Endless blood and treasure and nobody knows which end is up.
