From what they were saying last nite, 4 more ministers have resigned and that there is no central gov't in Iraq. To make matters worse, the Brits have lost total control of Basra, the second largest city in Iraq.

But they're going to tamp that down. The current occupation marketing is "we're making progress...". Progress from what?

The pro-war ads are on every break of every newscast here. Always people who were injured in Iraq or parents who lost a kid... saying "don't let my ___________ have died in vain when we are finally making progress...". I haven't seen one yet with the parent who says "don't let another family go through what we have for nothing".

It really disturbs me that the Neo's are selling this war like you would sell cornflakes. It's one thing to do it with selling candidates or less important issues; but selling a war with an ad campaign is over the line.

Disgusting...
