When looking for that type of gamble, I prefer a company like VLNC which is getting all sorts of GREEN press for its batteries that are going into the Prius

VLNC has a rich real estate mogul, Carl Berg, as board chairman who is funding it by buying shares when they need cash at the current market rate. Much better than convertible crap most companies use to raise funds...

NFI seems a gamble to me... fine with 1 or 2% of assets, but I prefer a company that could go up 40x just to hit old highs which is not out of the question for a green investment that could actually make money as a company.
