guess bloomberg won't run for president,, fire department may replace rudy in the ad literature with Bloomberg.

Don't unions for the Fire Department and the construction site have any responsibility here? The NYT editorial certainly didn't mention them if so. Don't get me wrong, I am absolutely not a fan of Bloomberg....and even less of Spitzer... So let's hope the s*** hits the fan immediately after the funerals end..... This is sickening....With the city booming and with vast new resources, the Fire Department has conducted 8,000 fewer inspections since 2001, while its budget has grown by more than a third. Officials say this is a normal fluctuation.
