This is a post on a thread from another wbsite. A dialogue between two former muslims. I thought it interesting enough to share here. Hello all Just wanted to share with you what happened in that very short spell I had at Ummah.com. I have never before then joined any Islamic forum, but based on a recommendation from a mate of mine in FFI, I gave Ummah.com a shot! As most of you know by now, I am an ex-Muslim and half Egyptian, so Arabic is a native tongue to me. I was very direct in my first and last thread at Ummah.com declaring that I was an apostate who wanted to see things from a different angle, as I could have missed a few things before losing my religion. The episode started with moderators mocking me and a swarm of ad hominem attacks, as well as speculations and guesses that I was a troll, Christian and last but not least "Satan's incarnation"!! LOL In a thread that lasted around 100 posts in less than 3 hours, I did not receive one single post that's of substance, logic or insight. The posts were filled with "inshallah, allhamdulellah, Jazak allah khiran and ended up with the dramatic and classic "Allah will smite your kafir head one day"!!! Subsequently, my thread was deleted and I was banned for life. Please bear in mind that I have not "as usual" used any derogatory comments and all my refutations were supported by Islamic references. Very angry and frowny people with no compassion in their hearts or logic in their heads! I am sorry to say that, but this exactly what happened to me. The notion of Islam being critiqued to them is incomprehensible and evil and the only way to understand Islam to them is to first believe and submit then think within certain criterion!!!! I am so happy that I no longer belong to such a low on morals and IQ cult that defies the rules of logic.... I am now back and will help all of you guys to put an end to this miserable ideology. All_Brains P.S: I understand another FFI member had a very similar episode recently, but will leave it up to them to disclose. Second interlocutor Well, they lived up to expectations of course. I am assuming you spoke in the Comparative Religion forum? Anyways, the hatred that spews from Muslims on that website is shocking. I once thought that Christians were bad enough with their disdain for Islam, but after living as a Muslim, and experiencing their culture, I can say without question that I have never seen any culture hate the way Muslims hate. They should damn well be embarrassed for themselves. To propagate such hatred in a modern world is far beneath the human race, and is a disgusting display of everything held in contempt by modern society. Islam is EVIL. Full Stop. Allah is evil, Muhammad is evil, and anyone who practices Islam is following everything Satan was described as being. Islam; the only religion with NO redeeming qualities whatsoever.
