we had a big coming in from lancaster and within 30 miles it broke up , a couple claps of thunder and some rain that was it for us last night. the rest of area got heavy 60mph winds and some 80mph gusts and heavy lightening. I'll take the rain, our yards are all green here in a week from dead grass. with the cold weather and then rains it looks like spring.

three luck buck crossing my back yard yesterday in mid afternoon. didn't even bother going in along the tree line. one guy was one heavy guy. There were feeding low bushes along among the berries. Birds already got the fruit last month.

It finally got clear and cool here. Funny thing in the coffee shop yesterday, we were talking about the rain Friday night. 2" to the north in Normal dropping to 1/2" 10 miles south where I live and 2" 6 miles south of me.
