Everyone in the UAE has an identity card which lists their religion.

Just got my new Swedish ID card. My birthplace is cited as "Maria Magdalena", which actually is the church community, where I was born in Stockholm.
The city of birth is not listed because it's considered discrimination... with 12% of the Swedish population born outside of Sweden, the socialists got that one right.

That's amazing. And you are comfortable in that kind of environment?

A card is not an environment. I've never been asked for the card outside of applying for various documents at government agencies (driver's license, licquor license, etc.), and it's currently at home in a desk drawer. Anyway, yeah, I'm comfortable in that environment.

A card is not an evironment?

Let me see........the gov't has to know your religion and then puts it on an ID card that you must maintain. Sorry but I call that an environment, not just a card. But if it doesn't bother you, that's cool.
