"If Osama bin Laden were running against George Bush for president"

That is the key. bin Laden isn't running against Smirk, they are in a mutually beneficial relationship. Osama has the US to recruit new terrorists, and Smirk has the terrorists to justify his policies.

It is in neither one's interest to end the War on Terror. So they won't.

Just one of the many reasons why I say Bush is the worst leader of my lifetime. He is an absolute idiot and has no idea how to execute a plan or to even conceive of a plan to win.

JF, > How could an administration that was so good at Swift-boating its political opponents at home be so inept at Swift-boating its geopolitical opponents abroad?

Because John Kerry made Bush look like an absolute genius.
