<But I am paying $10 a month for Russ Winter's pod casts. Find those quite enjoyable, especially right now during the height of the credit quake.>

I would never pay anyone for market analysis or commentary. It seems to me that anyone who really knows what's going on isn't selling that information for $10 per month. As far as I know, George Soros, Stevie Cohen, or any of the world's best speculators aren't writing blogs or selling podcasts.

Besides, I find it odd that two of the most prolific credit bubble blog writers, Russ Winter and Mish had a falling out several months ago. Russ called Mish's deflation analysis "crap" and Mish got offended and hasn't talked to him since.

Russ says he's an inflationist but is staying away from classic inflationary assets such as oil and gold. Mish is a deflationist but is wildly bullish on the inflationary assets oil and gold.

All of this just tells me that nobody knows what's going to happen and anyone who professes to know is a snake oil salesman in my opinion. I'm especially leery of anyone who writes blogs or does podcasts for money. If they really knew what they were doing, they would be keeping devoting their time and effort toward making a fortune in the markets. Writing blogs for banner ad revenue takes a lot of time and it pays peanuts compared to the potential speculative gains available in the markets.
