Thanks, Rambi. The man, Jim, that my daughter lost was truly irreplaceable. He was as rare as he was handsome and considerate. We were all fortunate to have him as a part of our family for the several years of their long romance. He died about two and a half years ago.

My daughter has since started to circulate once again. But her problem, as she willingly admits, is that she compares everyone she dates with Jim and always with very unfavorable results. However, she is trying to remember that everyone has his or her special skills, talents and personalities and that we are all different but at the same time alike. She is trying to concentrate on those things that make one special rather than comparing them with what was but is no more.

Several years ago, she lived devoid of hope. Today she has found herself again and is learning to love and , even better, is now ready again to permit herself to be loved--having learned from Jim what true love can be like.

I appreciate your kind remarks.
