Well, Bridge Player. I think the Carville--Matalin marriage is sustained mostly by the media. The Press loves this kind of arrangement. It gives them much to write about.

In other words, the Press loves the Carville--Matalin marriage for much the same reasons that it loves the Bill and Hillery marriage: it is fodder for their mill which is in perpetual need of fresh or stale fodder.

One of the reasons I believe a lot of the talking heads do what they do not from conviction, but just for the check. Didn't Huffington used to talk conservative?
