Someone posted that weirdo story which contradicts everything
I know about options, so I decided to check
out options volume. Looking at spy
call volume, that IS weird. Exactly 10K volume for every
strike between 60 and 95, and these calls are not exactly what
I call cheap. Either this is a computer glitch (wrong quote),
or what? Why exactly 10K volume for every call strike?
The probability of hitting 10K exactly for every strike by
chance is zero. Surely,
that is NOT a bearish or crash bet, but the other way
around - SPY support bet, unless the calls were actually
shorted. -g-

Just for 60 strike, 10K in SPY calls is $86.5 Million. Overall,
this adds up to a lot.
