BTW, did you notice that the worship of Mary (mother of Jesus) and other Saints(*), is a form of crypto-polytheism --at least as far as Catholics (and ORTHODOX Christians) are concerned.

Wherever did you get the notion that Orthodox Christians worship Mary, the Mother of God, and the Saints?

Orthodox Christians worship God alone.

We honor and venerate the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Saints, but we do not worship them. Worship is reserved for God alone.

Many people confuse and conflate the Orthodox with the Papists. The Papists may worship Mary, but the Orthodox are not Papists.

P.S. Don't believe everything you read on Wikipedia. There are no shortage of inaccuracies contained on Wikipedia, including the link you provided to the Blessed and Ever-Virgin Mary.

You are confused. Orthodox Christians do not "worship Mary". We worship God alone. I think you are confusing Papists with the Orthodox, as happens quite often. The Orthodox do venerate the Blessed Virgin Mary and hold her in the highest regard, but we do not worship her as do the followers of Popery.
