Yes........well........read the history of European settlement, or Asian settlement and note the similarities. Not to say that I've read them all and know any more than the next guy, but a little perspective is certainly called for.

I believe some people in the ME are still hooked on slave power. Where's the outrage there?

So far, I've watched Apocalypto three times. My conclusion is always the same. Those people needed rescuing.

Two of the Indians in that movie come from where I live. The myth of the pristine environment that existed before Columbus was just a myth. The theme of the movie was a guy trying to save his family against incredible odds.
