Yes........well........read the history of European settlement, or Asian settlement and note the similarities. Not to say that I've read them all and know any more than the next guy, but a little perspective is certainly called for. I believe some people in the ME are still hooked on slave power. Where's the outrage there? So far, I've watched Apocalypto three times. My conclusion is always the same. Those people needed rescuing.
