Cruelty of any sort is unacceptable, and sad to say, Mans inhumanity to man probably even supercedes mans unhumanity to animals. For instance how about a religion ISLAM that tolerates the cruelty done by Islamic Fanatics today? jdn

Here's another rational reason to suppress this stuff.

Cruelty to animals is very often translated into cruelty to humans. When the thrill of torturing animals wears off, it's the next step.
