Agree. It would be a nice change if this country could someday return to its roots and recognize the criminal for what he or she is - a crook, a thug, a thief, a villian etc.

Instead, we tend to make them into victims with our "woe is me" and feel good attitudes.

If Vick was some schmuck, there would be little or no noise about his potential sentence.

For me, the bottom line about Vick comes from Fred G. Sanford, "You big dummy"!

You're right, Marie! He was ALREADY leading a life of crime! I might be wrong here (and you would know better than me) but doesn't he have to answer to the state courts after the feds get through with him? BTW, the last (I HOPE) of those charges I was facing a couple of years back were dropped today.
