Elroy, compare subprime to the few bucks going into Ethanol. Everyone was saying about: What an horror! Those subsidies to the corn growers. This is not what economy is supposed to be! And right there the subprime was getting the silly guys and skinning them alive... I don't believe ethanol will ever derail the world economy like the subprimers are doing right now.

Either keep pumping money or show the soft belly. Time's up for the decoupling that was on the cards and was long overdue. Europe and US have no alternative but pump liquidity real good to avoid showing the under belly and we all discover the king is naked. Any European and any American must have now his exit strategy ready. Man a nation that has to skin alive stupid immigrants to make money must be in very dire straits. Please tell us what is your exit strategy.

<<Angelo Mozillo will retire to Italy>> ... not advisable, imo, because true justice could well follow, as wronged americans can be very persistent and creative, and too many watch hollywood productions it may be best that he escapes to territory with 'no gun' laws. people do not generally take kindly to be financially wiped out ... and certainly not this time ... and most definitely not towards anyone with such a beautiful tan and wearing such spiffy attire of two tone shirt and cuffs made of bling material there will be some hanging to do, i am guessing else the french revolution was for naught, as education material in dusty archives and musty books the show, i suspect, will be very good
