OK, figured it out a bit better now, you can see more places they found if you twiddle the arrows on the left. They did get my nearest real supermarket. They also found a phantom one (it says "Price Chopper Cohoes Office" and the label is in Troy (where I live not Cohoes and office isn't a supermarket - there isn't a supermarket in that location). Also a coffee shop that is closed. My score is still 95 :) I chose this apartment to have maximum walkability.

Maybe the walkscore includes "closest RE agent" - likely increasing distance daily.
